The Adventures of the Cuddle Me Cutes

Not updates recently so here it goes...

Well during my exams I was crasy stressed so couldnt do much towards the end but now iv finnished it seems i still can do much cus im here there and everywhere! Which is how i like it. However, I have been making edibles, I made some yummy marble cupcakes the other day... best cakes Iv made to date.. the secret dont use coco powder use melted chocolate instead to keep it moist! I also made some bannana ice cream (more lik,e a sorbet, but stil very yummy) and make a creamy ice cream with jafacakes in it, this was my fave as the jaffas froze, they didnt go soggy as we thought might happen and they were sooo yummy. I also made an onion pickle, an aquired taste but very nice, reduced alot thought. But my failure was the orange and carrot marmalade.
I followed the recipies and kept doing the plate setting test but i must have left it too long making to much water evaporate :( which meant i made about 6 jars of no good marmalade. It tasted like orangy suger with a honey texture lol... pretty unspreadable, but oh well we live and learn.
Next time I shall post some pics as i will be making more.

So im sorry I havent posted in what seems like ages, iv been busy studying and after 4 weeks of revising i finally snapped and had to get the sewing machine out and make some cuddles. These are 3D, they stand up and some have pockets in to hold bits and bobs.

next up we have Tattooed Terry himself, I love this fabric, made bags and purses out of it, fabric designed by Alexander Henry.

And my fav, the super sweet Flora Flo!

All these cuddley bunnies were made from old bits of material I found in my material box.
A tip to sewers out there if you see a button, piece of material or ribbon... anything you like buy it, theres always a use for it! the blue floral print above looked like horrible blue floral and a whole dress could look abit OTT, but patches here and there look really great and add a femininity to a piece.
Below is an example of how i used this floral and clashed it quite nicely I feel, while i was designing clothes for Fifis Secret.

Sooo, buy, glue, sew, knit and have fun with random colours, themes and cuddles.

The JellyBra!

The JellyBra is an unusual pedigree cross-bread of a Jellyfish and a Zebra (Latin name: Jellyfishio-Zebraio). The JellyBra likes bobbing around the ocean trying to hug people with its stingy bits, and sunbathing. The JellyBra has to be carefull incase the JellyPard (Latin name: Jellyfishio-Leopardio) sees it sunbathing and wants it for dinner. Though she trys to remain camouflaged the bright wonky eyes and stingy bits give it away... so if you see something like this in the sea, watch out, it could be her!

Witness above how the stingy bits feel more like a tickle, resulting in contagious laughter! BE WARNED!
Below is the the younger sister of this JellyBra. This one is the stylish younger sister trying to shed the fully camo look and adapting the must have this season pink pink pink look. However this makes her even more vulnerable to the JellyPard so must be escorted round by a human at all times, either as a badge, necklace or hair bow!

Cuddley food yumm

I love food! Who doesn't? So i decided to make some random cuddley food so my cuddles don't go hungry.

A sizzling t-bone steak, a mouth watering water mellon and a yummy egg.

Princess Beanton the little red alien

Princess Beanton (named by a competition winner) fell to our planet from Mars about a year ago. She likes candyfloss and hiding up trees, and though she says its a lot colder here on Earth her skin is still as red as the day she fell here.
Her huge eyes look up at this new world with so many questions and since falling to Earth she has adopted a dress sense of a hair bow with heart badge... she finds it fetching.

Princess Beanton has a soft tender underbelly which she loves to have tickled, and her suckers on her arms are great for climbing up them trees or into your messy bed, so watch out!

Mrs Squishy McSquid

Mrs Squishy McSquid was my first creation, the first one sold straight away so this ones a replica but equally loved. This madame made it to the Hand-making Heroes Shortlist, on pressies4princesses for her underwater cuteness.

Mrs Squishy McSquid got her vibrant pink colour when a Lipstick tanker spewed a leak. Make sure her suckers don't get a hold of you or you wont be able to let her go! Her big beautiful eyes and hair bow give added cuteness.
